4 Creative Wedding Cake Designs for 2019

Spring is around the corner and with it comes the start of wedding season. Over the winter months, when I’ve not been designing winter wedding cakes, I’ve been spending time creating stylish new wedding cake designs to inspire brides and grooms on their wedding planning journey. Gorgeous Grey Calligraphy Cake

 

 

Nothing says romance like a love poem, so why not have your choice hand-painted onto your wedding cake? This design breaks the rules by combining tiers of different sizes and textures, but still brings the softness of a romantic wedding through its use of calligraphy, feature floral sketch, grey silk ribbon and pretty pink sugar magnolias. Perfect for a couple looking for something different without being abstract.

Using an abundance of sugar flowers and foliage, this wedding cake design also combines blush pink tones, pretty lace and smooth silk texture to become a picture of femininity. The diagonal direction of the sugar flowers works perfectly to offset the horizontal lines of the tiers, giving it a clean, modern and stylish feel.
